“Jonathan Strange” is a fingering weight 2-ply handspun yarn in a vibrant colorway that conjures up the best of summer: tomato, peach, summer squash. Spun from Whitefaced Woodlands, an heirloom sheep breed with a medium-soft hand and a nice crimp. This fiber may not be suitable for next-to-skin wear for sensitive skin; the tradeoff is a lovely sturdy yarn that won’t pill easily.
100% Whitefaced Woodlands wool, handspun and hand-dyed. Each skein is 200 yards and approximately 55 grams. Fingering weight.
