“Lost-Hope” Handspun Yarn

This hand-dyed yarn is spun from Lonk wool, a heritage sheep breed that produces fiber that is more crunchy than soft. The resulting yarn would be more suitable for household items or felted projects than for next-to-skin garments for most folks—unless you’re really nostalgic for the itchy wool sweaters of our childhood. The tradeoff is a sturdy, durable yarn that won’t pill easily, in a glorious turquoise and dusky rose colorway. Each skein is 200 yards and approximately 90 grams, light worsted/DK weight.
