This worsted weight 2-ply yarn is spun from natural brown Bergschaf wool. This heirloom sheep breed grows more of a crunchy than a soft fiber, and the yarn would be better suited for household items or felted projects than for next-to-skin garments. It’s a gorgeous “sheepy” yarn with a truly handmade feel. Each skein is 200 yards and approximately 105 grams.
